An Interview with Noelle Lovato, president of Burnet Title, Guardian Title Agency, US Title

In honor of Women’s History Month, we’re highlighting the trailblazers leading the way within our organization. As the President of Burnet Title, Guardian Title Agency, and US Title, Noelle Lovato is bringing her passion, knowledge, and expertise to Anywhere’s leadership team and we’re thrilled to share her insights and experiences with you.

What are you most passionate about in your work?

To be a woman in leadership requires great tenacity, resilience, and confidence. In my role I have the unique opportunity to be an agent of change and create an environment for others to reach their true potential. I am passionate about helping individuals to achieve their larger potential. As a leader, I am rewarded by seeing the positive impact of my efforts in the success of others. I am equally passionate about looking at the big picture and believe in the importance of communication, transparency, and authentic dialogue.

How do you approach developing new female leaders within your company?

When developing new female leaders, I approach them with respect, positivity, and patience. I recognize the value they can bring to the team and strive to create a space where they feel encouraged and empowered. I get to know them as individuals and invest time in understanding their strengths, areas of growth, and interests. This helps me to provide the right guidance and mentorship opportunities to each individual. I encourage women to take ownership of their career progression and prioritize self-development as they progress in their roles.

What’s the best lesson you’ve learned as a female leader?

What I have learned over the course of my career is the importance of taking risks and to challenge yourself. As a leader, you must learn to go beyond your comfort zone and take on roles that may require more of you and push the boundaries of what you thought was possible. You must be comfortable with being uncomfortable and be confident in yourself and your capabilities. Additionally, aspire to lead with empathy. Being a woman in a leadership position comes with its own set of challenges and emotional complexities that can be difficult to navigate. By leading with compassion and heart you will create a strong culture of support, respect, and collaboration.

What is the best leadership advice you’ve received?

The best leadership advice I have received is to stay humble and honest. Remember that no one is perfect, embrace feedback, both positive and negative, as it can be incredibly useful in developing and refining leadership skills. Additionally, lead with heart and prioritize the needs of the team first, build trust and have an open and honest dialogue with those around you. Developing strong relationships is key to success.

What advice do you have for someone who is just starting their career?

For someone just starting out in their career, it is important to remember that there are no shortcuts to success. Developing strong relationships and working hard to build knowledge and confidence are key to a successful, long-term career. Surround yourself with people who believe in you and have your best interest at heart. Always continue to learn, be inquisitive, ask questions and constantly strive to become even better at what you do. And lastly, do not take yourself too seriously and enjoy the journey you are on.
